Seoul to Tokyo takes about two hours. Departing from the SGBAC private terminal at Gimpo means boarding is finished minutes after you arrive, so leaving Seoul in the morning, working through a full day in Tokyo and returning the same evening is entirely practical. Instead of shaping your schedule around an airline timetable, the flight is shaped around your schedule.

Airports and ground access

Tokyo is served by Haneda and Narita. Haneda sits just south of the city centre, roughly half an hour from central districts, while Narita is out in Chiba and well over an hour away. Haneda is the stronger choice for a day built around city-centre meetings, though its slots are tightly held — depending on your departure time, Narita can be the better option.

Scheduling and aircraft

A two-hour sector is comfortably handled by a light or midsize jet. Korea and Japan share the same time zone, so you land ready to work and return without any adjustment. Extending the Seoul–Tokyo axis with a day in Osaka or Fukuoka is a common request.

Questions about this route

Can Seoul–Tokyo be done as a same-day return?
Yes — it is one of the most common patterns on this route. Two hours each way plus a short private-terminal process leaves a comfortable margin for a morning departure and evening return. Available departure times depend on airport slots and ground arrangements while the aircraft waits, so send us your preferred schedule and we will confirm.
Should I fly into Haneda or Narita?
For a city-centre schedule Haneda clearly wins on ground time. Business aviation slots at Haneda are not always available, however, so depending on your dates we may propose Narita. Ground transfers are arranged at either airport.
