Shanghai is two hours from Seoul, close enough that you can set both legs around your meetings. Scheduled options into China are often limited to a few times of day, which is where being able to fit the flight to the appointment matters most.
Airports and ground access
Shanghai has two airports. Hongqiao is close in on the west side and quick into the city; Pudong is out toward the eastern coast and takes longer. Hongqiao suits meetings in Puxi, Pudong suits anything in the new district.
Scheduling and aircraft
Two hours is comfortable for a light or midsize jet. Shanghai runs an hour behind Seoul, so a morning departure still leaves you the morning on arrival. Flights into China need lead time for permits and entry paperwork, so this is a route where earlier notice matters more than most.
